Simon John

Simon John has over 35 years qualified experience in injury cases, specialising in clinical negligence, brain and spinal injuries.  During that period he has recovered damages of over £1 million for more than 40 of his clients, acting against various defendants including multinationals and US and UK government departments.

He is a member of both Law Society panels and of national referral panels in all three fields including AVMA's panel and has also completed the Spinal Injury Association course. He is one of a select few to  be a Senior Fellow of APIL.   Other professional memberships include the Medico Legal Society; the European Brain Injury Society; the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers; British Institute of International and Comparative Law.   He has been a contributor to numerous legal texts and journals, and has held Trustee and Treasurer positions on a Pro Bono basis for various organisations including the Child Brain Injury Trust, the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum; and Headway West Suffolk.
