She has for many years had a national reputation as one of the leading solicitors in the field of Clinical Negligence Litigation. Claire's experience in the field of clinical negligence litigation is extensive. It includes claims and inquests arising from care in private and NHS units and in particular from obstetric, neo-natal, paediatric, anaesthetic, neurological, cardiac, GP and emergency care. She is probably best known for claims for children and adults who have suffered injuries of maximum severity with associated profound and permanent disability. She acted for the Claimant in what is understood to have been the largest personal injury/clinical negligence award that has been made in the UK.

• A claim for a young woman who suffered extensive loss of muscle and tissue due to failure to diagnose and treat necrotizing fasciitis;
