Russell's Case 2006

This case was initially brought on behalf of P in relation to injuries sustained during his birth in October 2002. It was a complex case relating to allegations of errors during labour, delivery and neonatal care. The case was strongly contested and trial on liability was listed for 3 July 2006. P, sadly, died on 30 March 2006 aged 3 ½ and his mother proceeded with the claim on behalf of the estate. An offer of settlement, made on 2 June 2006, in the sum of £200,000 was accepted.
